It seems that everyday we hear someone whispering a rude comment about someone's race, or hear someone cracking a racist joke.
Everyone seems to be making a fuss about it.
Why?
Sure, it's not polite, and yes it can teach children the wrong things.
But in my opinion if you're comfortable with your race you won't care about racist remarks. Just treat it like any other insult. Just brush it off and move along. Don't waste your time trying to get the better of them, or try to convince them that they're "stupid" or "wrong".
Basically people who make these comments are just like your childhood bully. They want one of two things. Attention or confidence.
Honestly, think about it. When a person makes a racial remark they're just trying to make themselves think that they're above those people. When in reality they're just some lame person looking for a confidence boost. OR they're trying to get attention. So when you lash back out at them. you're basically just giving them what they want.

rubyfalls.com
Chattanooga, Tennesse.
Ruby falls is the nation's largest and deepest waterfall open to the public. Although ticket's are a bit pricey, it's definately worth it.
Not only was our tour guide nice, but the other visitors were too and it proved to be an amazing experience.
It's a 1 mile walk (to and from) but you don't even notice. Between watching your step, head, siblings (if you have any), and looking at the beautiful landmarks you're kept too busy to worry about how far you've been walking.
The history of the cave is amazing and when you go you'll see a movie about it :)
One tip: don't drink the water, although they tell you this, I'll warn you also, it has magnesium in it. and just saying- you're down 1120 feet bellow the surface. do you really think there's bathrooms? xD
The building itself is charming and has a HUGE giftshop, a cafe, a playground for the younger ones, and a spectacular view you can't miss. :)
So, next time you're in Tennesse make sure you check out Ruby Falls.
I guarantee you'll love it. (:

I'm addicted to Mateusz Skutnik's games ( pastelgames.com )
It's always a gamer junkie's dream to find a game that not only has a great plot line but also great graphics. Last summer I found out about these games called "escape the room games". Basically, they're games that put your logic and patience to the test.
The most troubling thing I've found is A: getting a game where the points to find aren't too touchy, where you have to hit an EXACT spot (the 2 keys games- the razzmatazz room)
or B: It has great graphics but is "too" easy.(the stone of anamara)
The pastel games' crew is basically famous in this paticular genre of the gaming world. They have something for everyone. With graphics and difficulty range differing it's easy to find a series you like. My favorite is submachine, it's a little hard at first but once you understand the thinking process of the author/creator you begin to grasp the concept and are able to glide through the episode. If at first it seems hard, just use one of my best friends, walkthroughs.
If you've already played or heard of some of these games I've mentioned go ahead and tell me what you think of them.
Yeah yeah yeah... I'm a nerd but so what? :)
